Brocas a mataram.

  4. If she is dead then the ones that she is sheltering have her living through them, I think :)

  5. Oh, these are lovely old trees. I think the first one is dead and the vegetation, like the bromeliads, are living off of the remains. I love the contorted branches and how you framed it in the viewfinder with the background of hills. I had to laugh at your description of the second one because it does look like the trees are huddling together, bracing themselves for the storm rolling in! Lovely job on the challenge this month.

  6. I like the structure of the first tree, an inviting place for others plants to grow. Lovely stand of trees with the mountains in the background.

  8. It's lovely to see you at Donna's Photo Challenge Eglea!
Your first photo makes me think how giving a tree can be - the dead tree still provides shelter as host to the bromeliad and orchid!
    Enjoy your weekend.

  10. Beautiful photos. I really like the second one- the group of trees look like they are huddling together, waiting for the rain... And the old tree that's giving orchids a home - lovely!

  12. Beautiful images of trees. The first is most beautiful as it shows how trees live on after they die...

  14. Such great trees. I love how the "dead' one has life on it. And so sad to see trees cut...will we ever learn...excellent post. Thanks.
